In 2000 Murchison Defiba UTE was established as a joint venture between Murchison S.A. Estibajes y Cargas and Depósito Fiscal Buenos Aires S.A., for the development of the bonded warehouses owned by both companies.
MURCHISON is an Argentine company established in 1897, that renders port services such as stevedoring, transportation, CFS, distribution, storage and coordination in strategic locations in Argentina and Uruguay. Through the years, the company has strongly encouraged the development and training of its personnel, the use of modern technology in equipment, communications and computer systems.
Depósito Fiscal Buenos Aires S.A. was established in October of 1992 as a Customs-bonded warehouse offering services for import and export cargoes. The company accompanied the privatization process of the Port of Buenos Aires, offering distinct services which positioned it as a leader on the market for both import and export cargoes.
